Crazy Things Kids Say

Noah & TJ have been talking up a storm lately! Here are some of their latest ramblings...

While out in the pool Noah pointed at the house, looked at us and said, "There's the kitchen. Mommy makes pizza in the kitchen. Mommy makes fruit in the kitchen."

The other day we were out front playing and TJ came up to me and said, "where's Kevin? KEVIN? K E V I I I I I I N - where are you? 'MERE... please!"

Noah was playing with a pipe cleaner and said, "mommy, I have a pink octagon." Kevin said something about a stop sign and Noah said, "red octagon."

TJ is big on recognizing her successes. And why shouldn't she! :o) Whenever she puts on her shoes or does anything really, she will look at me and say, "good job TJ!" She'll clap sometimes too. Noah will run through the house and yell, "yea!!!!!! I did it!!" Guess I should teach him soccer and what to say when he scores a goal!

They both like to run up and down the hallway yelling, "help help help!" as they giggle when I chase them. However, they started doing that outside the other day. I was like, oh geez, don't start yelling, "help" in public! People will think something bad is going on. They don't really get that yet.

The other day I was changing TJ's diaper and Noah walked over, peeked over my shoulder and said, "good job mommy" as he patted me on the back.

Noah has started answering questions with the funniest form of "yes". I asked him if he wanted chips & salsa (we were going out for Mexican food) and he said, "yes" but in a way that seemed as if he really pondered over the question before answering with a very "sure of himself" "YE-es". Not sure how that came across as it's hard to describe but it is too funny.

TJ has really been talking 4-5 word sentences with EVERYTHING lately. It's crazy. The other day in the pool she said, "daddy, put me on your back please."

They are so funny together. They say "please" and "thank you" to each other, are very huggy and kissy with each other and look out for each other with milk/snacks/juice/etc. (Most of the time that is.)

They LOVE to say the alphabet and enjoy singing the Happy Birthday song making sure to include EVERYONE they can think of.

Noah walked up to me the other day and proclaimed, "I am Noah." I was like, "um, ok." LOL

Last but not least for now... TJ's new thing is to walk up to me and say, "mommy - guess what?!" But that's as far as she gets. So the first time I was like, "what honey?" And she again said, "guess what." It's a "TO BE CONTINUED"
