Dodeeeeee - MERE!

That and "Dodeee w'are you?" So TJ has her first love interest - our neighbor Cody. He is a recent Kindergarten grad with blonde hair, light brown eyes, and a lovely Californian tan.

She is absolutely smitten with the boy! He is a great kid and loves to come over and play with the kids on a daily basis. He even came over today when we got back from a doctor's appt. to see what time they were going to be able to come out to play. When I left for the gym, he was sitting in his driveway with his chin in his hands just waiting for the kids. He looked so sad! Actually, on our way to the appointment, I had just put TJ in her car seat when Noah yelled out, "Hi Cody!" TJ yelled out, "Dodeee, hi dodeee! Dodeeeee mere (come here) hug TJ!!" It was the cutest thing! When he came up to the car, she squealed with giddy glee. It was so cute! Both Noah and TJ run up to him whenever they see him. It is so neat.

Awwwwwwww

So kids really do say the cutest things. Here is a sampling from the past week.

-"Wuv you, TJ" said by Noah as he gives her a squeezy hug.
-TJ picked up her pink phone and said, "mommy, love you."
-"Noah carry TJ" after TJ asked mommy to carry her home on our walk. He tried so hard to pick her up but just couldn't do it.
-"mommy, netole go for walk with noah and tj. don't squeeze da tum TJ." (Translation: mommy, necole took Noah and TJ for a walk. She said, "don't squeeze the plum, TJ.") I had asked the kids what they did earlier while Necole was over.
-"mmmm, yummy in tummy. noah and tj have moothie." (aka smoothie) said by Noah.
-"dody, w'are you?" "titty tat, w'are you?" Noah & TJ calling for our neighbor friend and his cat.
-"HONEEEEEEY" (they always imitate me calling Kevin honey. They yell it through the house.)
-Noah spilled some water on the floor and came up to me and said, "mama, want wipey." I told him it would be ok that it would dry. "mama, want towel." I said that it was ok. "mama, want blanket." I again said, "Noah, it 's ok sweetie, it will dry." So he went to the dirty clothes, picked up a shirt and said, "have it?" I said, "yes honey, you can have it." So he went over, dried the floor and brought it back and proudly said, "all clean. ok."

Oh, I could go on but there are just too many! They are really coming into their own re: speech and it's just amazing to hear. They are growing up so quickly! They certainly aren't babies any more. Time just FLIES by!! I'm still trying to capture Noah singing the alphabet song but he won't do it when he sees the camera. I actually got him doing it today but he saw the camera and sang it with his tongue out. Here's a portion of it:

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo

This is one of Noah's favorite songs that he sings while playing with his trains. In case you can't figure out the lyrics...

chugga chugga chugga chugga choo choooo choo choooooo choo choooooo

chugga chugga chugga chugga choo chooooo chug chug chug chug chug

I know what you are thinking, "the boy's a genius!" I know. With lyrics like that, who knows how far he can go one day! Hee Hee It obviously has a catchy beat that he enjoys!
